Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR)

TNR30.HEIC

The stray population in South Texas is staggering. Due to the warm climate, cats breed year-round, and our community is inundated with stray and feral cats. We strongly believe in Trap Neuter, Release (TNR), and work hard to sterilize colonies that we have saved sick, injured, or special needs cats from. TNR consist of humanely trapping, sterilizing, vaccinating, and ear-tipping stray and feral cats. Once a cat has been sterilized, they are then released back at the location in which they were trapped. We are a very small organization with limited funds, but we do our best to minimize the feral population by working closely with the community, low-cost clinics, and other local trappers. If you would like to donate towards our TNR efforts, you can visit our Amazon wishlist, or donate below.

SpayUSA offers financial help for feral cat caretakers to TNR the colonies they care for. Visit SpayUSA to find out how they can help you. For more information about TNR, please reach out to us, or  click here to visit Alley Cat Allies.
